SidelineWatch ("we," "us," "our") provides a calendar-alert service that monitors sports schedules across third-party applications and services and notifies you of changes and conflicts. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account info: name, email address, password (hashed).
• Third-party schedule data: schedule, team, and calendar information you connect via third-party sports and calendar applications and services. We access only what's needed to detect schedule changes and conflicts.
• Billing info: processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number — that's handled entirely by our payment processor, under its own privacy policy.
• Usage data: login times, last-checked timestamps, error logs for troubleshooting.

How we use it

• To detect schedule changes and conflicts, and send you alert and digest emails
• To generate your personal calendar feed
• To process subscription billing
• To improve reliability and fix bugs

Third-party platforms

SidelineWatch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party sports platform, calendar application, or service. We connect to these services only to read schedule data on your behalf. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate SidelineWatch — for example, payment processing, email delivery, and hosting. We also connect to the third-party sports and calendar platforms you link to your account, solely to read your schedule data on your behalf; we do not send your personal information to those platforms.

Data retention

We retain your account and schedule data for as long as your account is active, plus 30 days after you unsubscribe — after which it is automatically and permanently deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

You can review and update most of your account and calendar information directly from your dashboard at any time. To delete your data, you can unsubscribe from your dashboard — it will be automatically and permanently deleted 30 days later — or email us to request immediate deletion. If you're in a jurisdiction with statutory data rights (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights — contact us to exercise them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed passwords) to protect your data. Although no system is 100% secure, we work actively to be as close to that 100% as technically possible.

Children

SidelineWatch accounts are intended for parents/guardians, not children. See our Children's Privacy Notice.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
